"I arrived and had to stand and wait while the front desk staff did something for their change of shift and paid no attention to me whatsoever. When it was brought to their attention, I was waiting. "The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar."

"Très bel hôtel avec une chambre immense et une literie confortable. Petit déjeuner délicieux et très complet dans une salle cosy et bien décorée. Parking à deux pas au tarif très abordable de 12 eur la nuit. Rien à redire."

"Great location and lovely staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable EXCEPT that the room was stiflingly hot. Not warm. HOT. We had two portable fans blowing all the time, which made it tolerable for sleeping. I understand that the weather in Ireland is unusually warm and not the hotel’s fault but damn. 15 degrees cooler in the hallway
The restaurant has delicious food and the breakfast was plentiful and inexpensive.
Will try here again in the fall or spring"

"Excellent property that was clean, centrally located and a good value. We would definitely stay here again. Take the quick drive to Lough Gur and spend a couple of hours enjoying the views and sites. The stone circle is especially impressive!"
