"Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. "Easy to find in a rural location. Big car park. Rooms are motel style so you can park out front. Rooms are big, comfy and have everything you need but maybe a little dated. Shower was like a water canon but a curved shower curtain would have made it much better! Food good, staff great, nothing to fault."

"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

"Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "
