"Lovely outlook, wish we could've stayed longer. Only negative was tight parking with larger vehicle and no room for error, could easily have gone over the edge with no barriers in place."
"Yes but wasn’t clued up about the Tetla for cooking. It was a portable hot plate so we used the electric frypan to cook our breakfast. Great breakfast too. But everything else was great, loved our stay very clean and calm music was lovely when we arrived. Location fantastic right next to HIRE BIKES and the Riesling Trail. "
"We stayed in the Pay Office cottage and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was generously stocked so we had what we needed to start our days well. The complimentary wine let us finish the day just as well. The location was very convenient for exploring the surrounding wineries. We would definitely stay again.
The only thing to be aware of is that there is no wi-fi available and cell phone coverage is spotty."
"Stay here! A unique, completely comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bungaree Station is a still-functioning sheep farm, founded in 1841 and still run by descendants of the founders. By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. I stayed in a former stable, now a lovely free standing little...
"A great place to stay. We booked last minute (same day) and the unit was nicely cleaned, fridge stocked and ready to go.
It was nice to have bread, bacon, eggs, butter, milk and juice available. The bottle of wine was also very welcome!!
Overall highly recommend."
"The property is extremely dated, and not in a charming way.
The mattress and pillows were awful, we were barely able to sleep and were in pain during the day from the bed.
Being called a b and b was odd as very limited provisions were provided and only sufficient for one day, all of it sourced from Woolworths as oppose to local produce.
"
"The Railway station B&B was an enjoyable relaxing place to stay.
It had everything we needed to come and go as we pleased.
Lovely and clean. Would happily recommend to anyone wanted to visit Burra."
"The cottage has a cosy, historical ambiance, set in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pub, within walking distance was fantastic too. Our hosts and the locals are warm and friendly. "
