"Room was not ready with soap and shower requirements, coffee etc. The room was clean, but could see it not being maintained. The staff was very helpful and tried correct problems. The refrigerator turned on but did not cool at all."
"The staff was great. I didn't love the room. It was mostly clean. The electricity went out for a bit. I didn't have time to use the pool or amenities. "
"It was clean simple and pleasant. The ease of breakfast lunch and or dinner on property was nice and it is convenient to go to several other restaurants/ hotels for meals very close by. The food was very good and nice options."
"Woodlands Lilongwe is a welcoming retreat amongst a nature reserve close to the centre of Lilongwe. Staff are exceptionally proficient and hospitable; the room is spacious, clean and has good amenities. The restaurant has an extensive, tasty menu with local produce often used, and service is fast and friendly.
Thank you for a pleasant stay during my business trip"

Reception had to provide and extension from the only socket that the TV was connected to. Confirmation of booking was not easy. A person managing the booking from a UK number was more impersonal than friendly"

When I ordered the se9cnd time the scheduled sirloin steak turned inti two little pieces of chicken stew with lots of bone, not worth the money but otherwise everything was great. The cook is amazing. Marietta was fantastic."
"Staff were very accommodating. Meals were delicious and they were prepared for power outages and other disruptions that North American guests would not be ready for. They had a back up generator and propane stoves for cooking during those times. It was safe and quiet. We had a good stay there - well done Divine bed and B!"
"To be honest I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted something affordable and convenient for my graduation trip and I got this and more. The hospitality was amazing. My small party of 3 enjoyed all the dinners we had here - we went for all traditional and healthy and loved every bite. Breakfast was great too."
"I cannot recommend Kumbali Country Lodge enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a peaceful garden sanctuary. The lodge is set on a beautiful working farm, with a game conservation program which gives it a unique, rustic-chic charm that you just won't find in a standard city hotel.
The suite was spacious, well decorated and extremely clean. The lodge staff went out of their way to make me feel very welcome. The onsite restaurant had a varied menu and the food was...
