"The hotel was covered in moquette and it smelled terrible. We had to sleep with the window open and ear plugs becuase the odor was unbearablebut with the window open the noise coming in was very loud. In the bathroom there was a terrible odor as well, we tried keeping the window open at all times and flushing but nothing made the smell go away."

"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. If you dont speak italian the majority of staff spoke...

"Noi siamo stati ospitati nell'albergo ristorante Gallo d'oro anziché nell'hotel Cinzia. Molto bello ed accogliente. Camera più grande delle solite con piccolo balcone. Il bagno in camera aveva anche la finestra. Colazione ottima."
