"It was clean and beautiful. The staff I interacted with were very helpful and kind, but they did not have enough staff in many areas, such as checking and in Muskies. The food was good not great."

"The property was not as advertised!! The floor was filthy, the refrigerator was dirty, and the surroundings were quite poor and unsafe. The room we were in was on a totally separate building, down a hill, behind an apartment house with broken down cars and junk piled around it. NO WIFI available. Was told we could have a better room, but we would have to upgrade. Was told there would an extra charge."

"Great place to stay"

"Although the hotel staff was friendly and apologetic, the overall experience fell well below reasonable expectations. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the hotel elevator was not working. We were traveling with two elderly family members who had considerable difficulty climbing the stairs. This created an unnecessary hardship and significantly affected their comfort and ability to access their room. More concerning, during the night, I noticed a strong smell of marijuana in our room. "Comfortable bed, and low enough for me, who is short, and requires assistance. Well appointed room. Shower is great. Restaurant great and breakfast was good."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Really no amenities but for just a stop for the night it was fine. Would stay again."

"This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more...

"Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view."

"The McCoy Inn was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I liked the location, as you could walk to nearby gas stations, food, and other needs. The picnic area and fire pit were set up very well and maintained."

"This is a quaint, clean and convenient property. Management was responsive to my need for a code. I would stay here again."

"Beautiful place with friendly staff."

"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops."
