"The hotel was in good location as long as you don’t mind a 15 min walk to beach/restaurants. Hotel is very dated all over but clean and most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Pool needs a few repairs and some more loungers would be good. Not much of a bar area but prices are reasonable. Hotel food just okay but plenty of restaurants nearby. No privacy on balconies. This review appears quite negative but we did have a lovely stay and again credit to the staff."
"Clean, neat and in a residential area so taxis were not close to the B&B, but the onsite manager was superior in her directions and recommendations for both bus and train access. Air-conditioning was excellent, water pressure in shower was excellent the room even across the street for a church bell site was sound proofed. Breakfast in a breakfast room was well appointed and the food was good - the on-site manager made cappuccinos every morning. Without doubt, when next we visit Palermo, this...
"This hotel is fine. It wasn’t as nice as in the pictures but honestly if you’re going to be there just for sleeping it’s perfect. It has everything you need and the staff is great. If you’re looking for a fancy hotel I would say pick something else but something easy conveniently located and average it’s perfect. Especially for the price."
"I checked into my room and noticed an immediate odor, I couldn’t tell what it was at first, but then I checked the bathroom and was overwhelmed by the smell of mildew and noticed a huge patch of black mold above the shower.
I asked the front desk to change rooms and they said they were all sold out. I was booked here for 3 nights so I asked about the next day and was told they were sold out every night. I asked to cancel and for a refund and was told it was against policy.
I booked another...
"Thank you for providing a wonderful stay. We were happy with the room size, quality and thoughtful provision of snacks and water for late checkin. The location is excellent very close to many must see of Palermo"
"We like that this property was in a quiet neighborhood with no cars driving down the street only motorcycles and scooters. It was a block away from campo market and had a great restaurant nearby. Also a fruit stand across from it.
A very unique property. Like staying in a palazzo. Each room was different. We even had 2 small balconies in our room.
They served a very nice breakfast and you could eat inside or out in the garden. The staff was very helpful arranging transportation from the...
"The castle sits on a hill near the center of town with a breathtaking view of the hills. The town itself, has nothing to offer but a walking park by the public parking lot. One must have a car to travel anywhere. Castellamare Del Golfo beach is about 30 minutes by car, each way, making it a highlight. Palermo is about an hour, Segesta Greek ruins about 45 minutes, and Erice about 90 minutes.
The rooms were clean, small, the window could not be fully opened. The staff was cold, the food was...
"It was a clean room / breakfast was delicious/ AC comfortable.
We had some issues w the commode but Giuseppe fixed it right away . That means so much to a guest. He and Martina went out of their way to make us comfortable/ give us info / and arrange taxi ride."
