"Knock House hotel was perfect. Very easy and short walk to Knock shrine. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel kindly stored our luggages after check-out, allowing us to continue with our planned activities at Knock Shrine without any hassle.
Breakfast buffet was delicious and there was a good spread of various dishes. Service staff were great. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was amazing too, had the best seafood chowder ever! Manager there spoke to us at dinner to welcome...
"This hotel is a nice relaxing place to stay in. Staff are the best, food is excellent. The shower is the only problem, they need to move the shower curtain rod away from the bathtub to give more space when using the shower."
"Clean room, lots of stairs and no air conditioning if you are there in summer something to think about! Parking free and available behind the building. The convenience of the restaurants was the best part. We had breakfast included and it was amazing at the old barracks restaurant. There is also a great pizza restaurant below the rooms which is fairly fancy. Not open Mondays though. Would stay again."
"Beautiful property, Joyce and Aiden were wonderful hosts. We could tell how much love and care they have for what they do. On top of that, best veggie omelette I’ve ever had during breakfast!"
"Have visited this hotel before to enjoy food&bervagaes and decided to stay for new years eve a tribute band was playing fabulous rooms spacious"lovely menu" spotless" above all with out the staff it would lose its appeal they make it 'will be back &value for money."
"Most places used Lockdown as an opportunity to freshen up the decor. The Corralea missed out on that.
Nobody at reception when I arrived. It took a while to find someone to check me in. I was given a room at the front of the hotel. In order to have a nightmare it is first necessary to be asleep. I had my nightmare without the benefit of sleep. Midnight to 2.am was filled with the noise of people leaving the pubs and the nearby chipper. I slept from 2.am 'til 4.am. Then every lorry, tractor,...
"The entire house is disgustingly dirty. Very unsafe too. Few of windows have cracks, no ventilation, many windows have no openings. Bathroom door was held by screws which were loose, we had to tightened it in case fall down onto one of kids. Mattress we slept on was stained and yellow.. Location isn’t great either. For five nights stay we paid €2600. We never had such horrendous experience."
