"Our room with a terrace was absolutely beautiful. We loved the stunning views and how peaceful and quiet the property was. The staff was truly amazing and went above and beyond during our stay. When my boyfriend hurt his back, they were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to help us, which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. We would love to stay here again!"

"O quarto é muito bom. Amplo e confortável. A vista do Douro também é bonita. Café da manhã razoável. A área da piscina é árida e estava com a grama por ser cortada (grama alta e mal conservada). O problema maior que achei, é porque não se trata propriamente de um hotel, mas sim de um B&B, pois não existem funcionários à disposição para atendimento das necessidades dos hóspedes, o que precisa ser solicitado por telefone para ver se é possível atender. O check in e check out também são remotos....

"The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but the amenities of the hotel were what sold us, however the sauna and hot tub were not available, nor were options to look at any of the farm to table process that the website mentions. Room temperature is controlled by staff and our room was HOT! We had asked that it be set cooler but that did not happen so it was hard to get to sleep. With all of that said, the pool area was lovely! The breakfast was incredible and the staff are very lovely."

"Fantastic stay for 2 nights in late September. Location is a challenging drive up a mountain, mixed signage. Great staff, lovely room and outstanding view on a clear sunny day. One challenge - breakfast is provided, dinner is not available....we did ask for a cheese platter one evening (the only option) but it was not made for us, not sure why - so we had to drive 15 mins into town in the dark. Overall a fantastic stay but be warned it is not a hotel, it is a quinta (farm) that does not really have much more than a room with a view. For that its amazing."
