"Very disappointing — only suitable for a one-night stay
Sadly, this hotel was a huge let-down. The only positive points for us were that the air conditioning worked well, the room was clean enough, and it was dark and quiet enough for sleeping.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very old and tired inside. The hallways and other areas have stickers and patches everywhere, seemingly covering holes and damage in the flooring and walls, which really adds to the run-down feel.

Aber ich war 14 Tage dort und hatte jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstück, es gab nur 2 Sorte Obst, ein davon aus der Dose, in einem Land wie Italien, das war sehr enttäuschend. Das Zimmer war ohne Balkon und das war sehr schwierig für uns als Familie die nasse Sachen zu trocknen. Ich habe nach einem anderen Zimmer mit Balkon gefragt weil ich so gebucht hatte. Leider habe ich nicht bekommen.
So was würde ich nie mehr machen und empfehle genau zu...
"The helpful and friendly staff makes this quite modest hotel a wonderful place to stay. The room was small but everything was neat and clean. 4-5 min walk to the beach. The location is good if you have a car, otherwise it’s a bit off.
Breakfast is ok, simple and lacked fresh vegetables. But the lovely staff makes you excellent coffee. One morning my teenage sons slept over breakfast, which the staff noticed and made them a tray for me to bring to the room. That says it all!"
"Breakfast had lots of variety. This location, while a bit of a walk from the train station .. the walking path was smooth. Viareggio is a great place from which to visit by train the cities of Cinque Terre. Wifi was steady.
Requested staff to review the pictures and sq ft shown on Expedia. Staff changed our room at our request when the room assigned was not the same layout as the room pictured (smaller)."

"If given the option, don’t stay here. The comforter had staining of reddish/brown dots, there was other peoples hair in the bed, and we got laughed at when we asked someone to take a look and change the sheets. Once they were changed, we were speaking with the front desk girl and we inquired about the possibility of bed bugs and were told “if you can’t see anything there aren’t any” and ended the discussion.
On top of this, you’re locked into the parking and it has to be opened by the front...
