"We stayed at Hotel Corso for 3 nights. The first night we were put in room 23 which faces the outdoor area. It was full of loud students using it as a social hub - till after 11.00 pm. Someone from the hotel eventually came up and told them to leave, but ruined our sleep. In the morning we asked to be moved, which happened without any problems. We slept well the next two nights. "Upon checking in, the staff person insisted on seeing passports for both of us even though the reservation was in my name and I submitted mine. My roommate did not bring her passport. The staff person was insistent and rude. Finally, when I said I wanted a refund, she relented and allowed us to register. If this is a requirement they should state it clearly on their website and through Expedia."

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. "The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."
