"This was a very nice property located on the waterfront. Exceptional value. Off-season so very little open in the area. I may have been the only guest in the hotel that night. This would be a great location in summer for regional water activities. The Festival of Sant' Antonio happened to be starting the same day I was there. The burning of the tree was right next to the hotel The town's people were friendly and shared wine and pastries"

"It is a nice hotel although it is quite old. The staff are friendly. Our room was quite spacious with a large balcony and sea view. The hotel restaurant is good for dinner (we haven’t tried but the menu looked good and we heard positive comments). The only thing I didn’t like were ants in the room. We couldn’t keep food outside because of them. The management should sort out this issue. "

"The beach resort is a step up from glamping, nice layout very well maintained gardens, pool is really fabulous and you can walk to the beach we’re you have access to a sunshade umbrella and beach beds. The beach like most in Sardinia is amazing clear water and great snorkelling. The resort is geared towards local tourism, mainly italian coming over with their cars. While the accommodations are clean they are well worn and can do with an upgrade. Very basic service get got clean towels and sheets...

"The stay at Xenia was great. Very clean room, comfortable bed and possibility to have super warm water in the shower. Breakfast was a buffet but because of covid there was no self service. The staff was very nice, they gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Single tip - it’s hard to find this hotel, it would be worthwhile to fix the address. "

"Very nice, new hotel with rustic decor in the room. Lovely balcony and outdoor swimming pool available even in winter. Very generous breakfast and extremely helpful staff. Large room, very clean washroom. We had some difficulties in finding the hotel - no signs anywhere on the road leading to it. Parking is not very convenient, especially when one needs to bring larger luggage to the room."

"My room had a lovely view with a cute balcony and the rooms were kept very clean. The bar above was a nice feature and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice. However the hotel being called Cala Luna has nothing to do with the beach it’s named after which is a big miss leading, you still have to pay €5 a day and a 20 min boat to the Cala Luna. "This stay was made by Antonio, who in spite of our non existent Italian provided all of the information we needed for an amazing visit to Villasimius! Hotel is in a central but quiet location with immaculate accommodations, a lovely terrace, amazing welcome from Antonio and Barbara, and excellent recommendations for hiking! We booked a second night thanks to Antonio who even drove us to the start of another beautiful beach hike! Couldn’t ask for a better or kinder host. Thanks again Antonio!"
