"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night."
"Our room with a terrace was absolutely beautiful. We loved the stunning views and how peaceful and quiet the property was. The staff was truly amazing and went above and beyond during our stay. When my boyfriend hurt his back, they were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to help us, which we really appreciated.
We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. We would love to stay here again!"
O check in e check out também são remotos....
"The grounds on this property are beautiful!
Fantastic views, clean rooms, plenty of of parking, wonderful friendly staff and a great selection of choice for breakfast.
I definitely recommend staying at Quinta da Portela Douro for your stay in Douro Valley."
"This property clearly has a home touch to it.
Very much a bed and breakfast experience.
The owner is very attentive to your needs.
The only thing we found lacking was a good restaurant nearby."
"The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but the amenities of the hotel were what sold us, however the sauna and hot tub were not available, nor were options to look at any of the farm to table process that the website mentions. Room temperature is controlled by staff and our room was HOT! We had asked that it be set cooler but that did not happen so it was hard to get to sleep. With all of that said, the pool area was lovely! The breakfast was incredible and the staff are very lovely."
"The Good: Wonderful homely place all the staff are lovely. What an amazing location high above the Duoro River below. Great wine ( goes without saying !!) Although a little isolated the availability of the evening snack menu was great and a fitting and substantial addition to the wine.
Pinhao is about 25 minute drive away, but there are many restaurants there.
The Bad: Parking is available but yes it’s very narrow and sometimes a bit of a log jam.
A fridge and water in the room would also be...
