"Room was clean & staff were friendly. They could have provided a double bed quilt & small fridge. Not very good signal for wifi Internet as because it went on going on & off. Bedside switch near the window side was faulty. Overall everything was fine."

"It was a beautiful location, well decorated and kept clean. They have an incredible breakfast setup too. We were very dissatisfied with the temperature in the room. We stayed in a room with a ‘ac’ air blower that didn’t work, and due to smokers outside we could not comfortably open the doors, which had no screens available to keep out bugs. It just needs a more realistic setup for hot temperatures."

"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "Nice hotel close to wine pubs/restaurants. Clean and modern with nice buffet breakfast. Very nice staff at breakfast time. Terrible check in experience. Arrived before 3 (the stated check in time) and reception was closed. Waited abs waited. Could not reach hotel by phone or via doorbell until somebody came at 4pm - there was no apology, just a remark that the stated checkin time of 3 pm was not applicable since the boss was not around. Really??? There was no message or door sign to that...

"Nice country hotel, if you plan however to wake up ealy next morning, watch out for overnight parties! In my case, I was relocated two times (at my request, of course, they seem not to have thought about it) until I ended up in a room a little smelly (but at least I could sleep)."
