"The place is lovely, the tents, the fireplace, the main lodge, everything is curated to the finest detail. Fantastic experience next to Acadia National Park. The staff was very helpful as well.
The mattresses weren’t the most comfortable since you can feel the rods used to warm them up in winter. Must be very practical in winter, when a heated mattress is a great feature, but it made it pretty uncomfortable for us.
Breakfast is simple but nice and complete, and it includes gluten-free...
"Room was immaculate. Staff above and beyond. Feels like a community in respect to the shared kitchen; complete privacy iin each room. Chairs outside of each room to enjoy morning coffee with a pretty decent tree-filled view. As we left, the "owner's wife," (her words to introduce herself) asked if we saw the banana muffins she had made that morning. They looked delicious and she found a little bag for us to take one with us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat ."
"I did not like this property. It was old and smelly of old. The mattress was lumpy and lopsided therefore not a good nights rest. There is no elevator only stairs and we had the third floor room had to bring up our own luggage very difficult for older people. I do not recommend this property for any stay, I cannot believe Expedia has this on their website."
"The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding. Very spacious rooms. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our balcony view to the ocean was memorable. If your long for R&R this is the place to come to in Maine."
"Really nice outside the inside was nice but could be spruced up and decorated the weekend. Lobster bake was good a little pricey for no more than what you got. I would suggest some chips or fries with the lobster roll."

"The Elms is an historic inn conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Camden with free parking. Traffic gets congested in peak season so this is a plus. Breakfast was delicious, healthy and hearty, served on the patio. A perfect place for a quick visit to Camden!"
