"Our stay was extremely disappointing and well below expectations. The lift system was a major issue, with constant rattling and mechanical noise clearly audible throughout the rooms every time the lifts operated. One lift also appeared to be malfunctioning, with the doors repeatedly closing on people and failing to reopen properly, creating a genuine safety concern.Prior to arrival, I contacted the property months in advance regarding adjoining rooms but received no response whatsoever.The...
"Perfect place for a quick over night stop. It is older accommodation but so clean. Location perfect. Short walk to eateries and supermarkets. Will definitely stay again if needing accomodation in Hobart."
"Great staff. Clean comfortable room. Rooms are not the most sound insulated but some guests also just dont care. The parking, especially those near the restaurant and reception are often taken by dining guests. If you go out, dont expect a park near your room. Maybe room guest parking signs could help eliminate this problem.
Overall is a good place to stay. It suits our needs, good price and for us, convenient for our needs.
Have stayed there a number of times. We are happy."
"Room was nice and the staff very helpful and friendly. I had a heavy suitcase and all the rooms were located in second floor so I struggled a little with that on the stairs but not a big deal. I needed to check out very early and the self-check out process was easy and smooth."
"This is an older property, that shows its age. I stayed in a room that was part of the main tower building; the room was a nice size and clean. I really appreciated the fridge and microwave + dishes provided. The front receptionist was lovely and kind, I felt so lucky to be able to check in early which afforded me more time to explore.
The motel is about a 10 minute bus from Hobart cbd but there are so many bus stops nearby and with the public transit being free it was dead east to get to town....
"We loved our stay for the second time, the receptionist was very helpful and informative, great location and apartment was great and had everything we needed."
"Basic accommodation and amenities - had a microwave, small kettle and toaster with some crockery but we had to wash dishes in bathroom and there were only 2 of some dishes, yet the room slept 4."
"We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Unit is up a long narrow set of stairs. Door opens directly from the car park.
There is a view in the distance but you need to look over the car park and over flow carpark plus some houses. The view of a he church tower and farm hills.
The bar is directly below so great for dinner options.
The unit has sloping roof so beware it’s tight getting around the bed.
Unit had toaster and kettle no microwave. Plenty of cutlery plates and cups. It’s set for 4 but this would...
