"The staff is great but this is actually an apartment with front desk, they charge for cleaning and leaving trash in the trash bags and you had to clean your own dishes, i thought i was paying for a hotel so they do the services for me, the towels were very stiff and the bed very hard to sleep on, would no stay there again, the only positive was that it was close to the train station and front desk was kind"
"This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and I’m sad to say I cant see a 4th now.
Started off with the very unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist on arrival. Whenever I book, I then request parking, I have limited mobility and walk with a stick. We arrived and as usual, parked in the carpark. Upon check in, we were told to move the car. I explained that I’d requested parking on booking and her response was, “well show me that we agreed otherwise you need to move”. I’ve never had a response and...
"A nice stay, we managed a good sleep, good mattress, basic room, no water or kettle. The breakfast had a limited option, but ok to start the day. Safe parking. Shopping area at 5 min walking."
"The building, hallways and rooms feel like dorm or hostel setup, very institutional feeling. The rooms are clean however and ours had a nice balcony. They had a nice breakfast that was included and added to the value. Getting to reception was a little tricky as you need to get through a gate and the intercom system is a little confusing. As is entry even after you have registered. The location is OK. Street parking is slim but free from 7pm til 9am and pretty reasonable if you need to during...
"Hôtel très bien situé pas très loin de la gare, à côté de la cathédrale et proche de la place avec tous les restaurants. Le personnel est très gentil et très bonne literie."
"Bad
We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 pm. There was no staff onsite! Other guests told us the receptionist would be available after 2:00 pm.
The hotel description mentioned that there are limited parking spaces upon requests. Actually, there are no parking spaces.
There is no elevator. Carry-up the stairways. This could be a common issue for inner city small hotel. So, do your homework carefully.
Good
Location is good."
"Perfect stop over after long drive from Calais, love the retro feel it has. Room was big enough for two people and a spaniel. Quiet location too. Staff provided us with a locally brewed bottled beer which was very good.
My only disappointment was a small one and that was small paper cups instead of proper cups and uht milk in the room- Although the breakfast facilities did look very good, we didn’t have time to try them. Would stay again."
"It was our first time in France and the staff was amazing! The front desk attendant gave us a map and circled all the places we should visit. The room was very clean, it’s in a great location, and it was budget friendly 😉. I highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Bordeaux."
