"It’s a charming place, with staff who will do their best to attend to your needs. The breakfast was delicious, the ambiance is both formal and casual, and the views from either side of the hotel are wonderful."
"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
"The staff were all very helpful. I especially liked the close proximity to the Wengen train station.. The views from the hotel were magnificent. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the fine dining dinners. I will definitely return"
"Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. The room has everything needed for the comfortable stay and the view from the window was amazing."
"We did enjoy our stay. Everything was perfect: breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and polite, surroundings were beautiful."
"Nicely renovated and updated property with amazing views of the valley from the gardens. Our room was small but cleverly furnished and comfortable. Great breakfast. 10 minute uphill walk from the town center- definitely take the ride up if you have luggage. Excellent breakfast with good staff."
"Wengen is a very small and quiet town away from the crowd which I absolutely love. The hotel is located a short distance away from the train station. Rooms are clean, and the free breakfast has more than enough variety and the breakfast place is extremely cozy."
"We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again."
"Liked "cabin"/ski-resort hotel feel. Not so much the 10 minute walk across murren to get to the train to get down to Lauterbrunnen.
Comfy bed, but no heat. It was mid-September and we returned to the hotel cold and were told there was no heat for another week when Fall started!
Nice restaurant deck. Breakfast and breakfast staff were great. Dinner and dinner staff were great."
