"The staff was incredibly welcoming (and understandably proud of their property). The grounds were also amazing; it definitely felt like Costa Rica! We saw monkeys and sloths in the trees right outside our room, and the vibrant foliage was lovely. Would definitely stay again!"

"We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. "Cannot recommend this place enough! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a place so well stocked in all of my travels. We had everything we could possibly need from standard kitchen items to a blender, toaster oven, rice cooker, and even an entire area dedicated to children’s toys! (We didn’t need those but appreciated that it was available) Check-in was easy and the grounds are gorgeous. "The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again."
