"What a delightful, timeless gem. This is not a modern chain hotel. It’s a quaint Italian hotel where you gather for a morning breakfast, meet new people in the lobby, share a small elevator and enjoy a clean room with a lovely view. The location was perfect. It was close enough to the ocean to see it from the second floor, yet far enough away that you could enjoy quiet evenings. The staff was warm and welcoming. "From our room,15, the view was spectacular. I could lie in bed and see the sun setting behind Porto Venere. It's an older property but generally well maintained. Staff are like a family and will do everything they can to make your stay a good experience, as long as you are respectful. Maxes, Mario, Francescas, Petro and all the team were warm, friendly and fun. We went in spring and the jasmine was in full fragrance, so lovely. There's some nice restaurants just 50m down the road and another...

"Loved the property. Felt like we were in our own little world. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Only downside is that it is way up on a mountain and you needed to wait for a shuttle to come pick you up in both directions. Shuttle only runs once per hour but in all fairness we were not inconvenienced by this at all. You can take a cab up that will cost you 30euro if you absolutely must get there."

"Wir wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen und auch über alles was man so wissen sollte informiert, zB über Bus, Bahn, wo kann man zu Abend essen usw. Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und ein köstliches Frühstück. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft und können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen."

"From the moment we checked we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, who took the time to show us our room, The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the gardens and pool area, Breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Although this was a 3 star hotel, in our opinion it's was 4 star +. And would not hesitate recommend the beautiful hotel."
