"Stayed in this hotel before and had similar experiences both times. Staff were quite abrupt about receiving deposits on arrival. Maintenance is lacking on the old hotel features. Mainly the lift and creaking floorboards. Great Location right next to the beach and overlooking the hills if you stay at the rear/side rooms. Bar team quite friendly and opening hours are usually extended."

Very creaky rooms, I could hear the next-door people quite clearly walking about on the squeaky floorboards and even talking. I dread to think what it would be like in a fire – very confusing interior layout and no signs to the staircases, so that you can easily get lost. Not enough parking either. "Very friendly staff. Our room was in the main building up more stairs from the entrance. We were on the top floor. He took my suitcase and carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Lovely family room with fantastic views. The bath was wonderful! Complimentary waters daily and biscuits topped up. Rooms can be serviced daily.
