"The staff were pleasant and the pool area was OK. Location of the hotel was good. However on the second floor the decor was in need of a lot of improvement. The carpet was threadbare in places; the corridor and our room 223 had paint flaking off in places; the curtains were in need of replacement and were tattily drawn which looked a mess. "Overall nice and clean. The superior family lodge is over two floors. Staff nice and polite and personal parking space. There are three pod point EV chargers in the parking which is an advantage but sometimes all occupied. The slight issue was the heat. You wouldn't usually expect too much heat in Snowdon but given there was the heatwave going, the top floor where the bedrooms were, it was difficult to sleep there.
