"I booked this hotel for our 2 weeks stay in Amsterdam. It is centrally located, but I would not stay here nor recommend the place. #1 - The ponly plus point I can say it is centrally located and walking distance to Amsterdam Central Station. #2 - The Hotel is so dated and not well maintained. ...the lobby, the elevator, the carpet. #3- The amenities are very basic... we stayed for 15 days, and only provided us toiletries once or twice. "Continental breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and smiley. Room was clean bar a few cobwebs. Quite alot of stains on the carpets. Bed was comfortable. Not much choice at the bar of beers on tap. No cider. Good location for trains, buses and trams. 2 convenience stores close by."

"My stay was satisfactory, typical HIG express hotel. If they would add a fitness room this would add a star in future stays. It’s at a quite place, river view, 15mins walk to free ferry to get into a tourist spot, central station, nearby 2 choices for groceries and on the go food. Season prices are up, but you know it’s Amsterdam. BF is as included but I didn’t use it. It was a fruitful stay."

"It was my first time trying a hotel/hostel like this. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all friendly, the pods were clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller I felt safe. I would definitely recommend this place."
