"The listing here doesn't mention that these are essentially student dorms. Nothing wrong with that at all and these are really well priced and quite nice dorms at that. Given these house students, you can see some hard miles on the property but maintenance is kept up. It's a very good budget stay and reasonably close to some restaurants and shopping. It's not terribly close to the main beach (~8 minutes by bike, ~25-30 minutes walk). I wouldn't rule it out for future stays."

Parking can be a little tricky, but we managed to get parked in the orange zone which was right outside the hotel. Plus Plopsaland was just 10 mins away, so super convenient!!"

"We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our week long trip to France/Belgium. We primarily chose it for it's location to both Poperinge and Ypres but also distance to Calais. We could not fault this hotel at all. The family who run the hotel were really friendly, the bed comfortable, breakfast was great and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We did not use the pool or sauna only because we did not pack any swimwear but it looked lovely. From the outside when you park up this hotel...

"Very poor, booked on the basis of 8 out of 10 rating but honestly not sure who posted these reviews. Booked a second night for the following week ( non refundable) and couldn't bring myself to return so booked a different hotel meaning more than double the cost. No water in the shower, no food and damp bedding. Service was poor and I was made to feel unwelcome. Stayed at the Ibis budget and felt like a rock star compared to this place. Avoid like the plague."
