"The accommodation met our expectations, being relatively close to the historic villages, although access to Monsanto village was difficult due to the type of road. We noticed some irregularities, such as the automated AC being difficult to adjust and having some malfunctions (we ended up switching it off at the power station to avoid problems). Breakfast is served in the house itself with fresh bread left at the door; however, all other food items could be better served (they are already in the...
"We stayed at Casa do Cedro for two nights. The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was excellent and the views and swimming pool are breathtaking. Lots of free parking on the street.
We were close to Monsanto by car which was our reason to visit the area. The town is quiet, in fact you don’t see people around. The only thing to remember is that depending on your travel date there may only be few options for lunch or dinner in the area."
"Staff was wonderful property was beautiful. The location was far from anything but very cool. The only issue was getting to a restaurant at night. Other than that it’s a great place to stay."

"If I could rate this a 10, I would. The location, the room, the staff, the breakfast was well above a 5. It was our pleasure staying at Pedra Nova and would highly recommend to anyone staying here while visiting any of the aldaies historicas. Miguel, Ines and Pedro were a pleasure to get to know. Thank you for all the fantastic work on making your home into a place for others to enjoy."
"This lodging is especially wonderful. We have stayed at many places- United States, Africa, South America, and Europe, and this place stands out as ultra friendly, hospitable, with an amazing renovation. The owners go avice and beyond to ensure your stay is special. The pool, surroundings, and lodging are absolutely beautiful, the area is soooooo peaceful and quiet- a blissful stay and good night’s sleep. They served a lovely breakfast and the owner’s homemade cake and other pastries were...
