"Only stayed 1 night but the staff we interacted with were Great and the breakfast was Wonderful (Far above average- as in they make their own croissants and things in house). The hotel was also clean, but it is dated and beyond just needing a renovation (which the poor manager has been waiting to get approved for years). Some things were in need of legit maintenance to the point it could be a problem in some circumstances. For instance, the shower current rod in our room was breaking away from the wall enough I had to warn teen daughter to pull curtain across very carefully so no pressure was put on it. I would not have felt safe if had young kids with me who couldn't be counted on not to put any pressure on it when pulling shower curtain across. That said, the staff was great and I'm sure would have moved us if asked, but we arrived late and had already changed rooms once due to cracks in the first tub's porcelain that had some rust showing thru - so we were just careful with the shower curtain. The mattresses did seem relatively new though and were comfortable. You can tell the manager and staff own making the things within their control the best they can, which I really respect, and why I'd rate it a 3.5 overall (so rounded up to 4). I would be a bit hesitant to stay more than a single night, but would be willing to stay there again."
