"The location was absolutely beautiful. And the rooms were fine- small, but totally fine and clean. That said, a few things to point out. 1. TV in the room... but it didn't work 2. AC was on, and there was a big sign that said, " Contact maintenance. " When you called, the voicemail said "someone has access to this phone all day"... and the vmail box is full! So, we changed it ourselves to heat. 3. The locks on the doors didn't really work; we had to really work them. We thought we were locked...

"I promise, especially if you’re staying in the condo buildings you will love it"

"pretty"

"It was certainly a remote property and if you want to get away from it all then this is the place!"

"Breakfast was very nice and staff very friendly… unfortunately it is not very accessible if you have walking difficulties … all the bedrooms are on the second floor and there are no elevators… l wish l had known this before l had booked the room …. we stayed 1 night even though we had reserved 2 nights because of the difficulty of the stairs… It was however nice if no handicaps"

"Great location! But…. Two recommendations. Property should have been maintained better (we found cockroaches inside coffee machines). There was no instruction to collect the keys from a different location. Kinda embarrassing."

"Staff was excellent and river views were amazing"

"Beautiful, secluded little area up in the mountain. It was so nice that there was firewood and a wood burning fireplace inside the property."

"Clean, quiet, beautiful inn in the heart of downtown Keene,NH. Joe was friendly and accommodating and a hell of a great guy. A+++++++"

"Don’t ever rent at this place for the condo rentals they sent us to the wrong address, I could not get in contact with the so-called property manager for over an hour or more. We had no toilet paper, we had no hairdryer, no paper towels, we didn’t even know where the keys were or shampoo or soap. Basically this was an utter disaster. I tried to work it out with resort management and they offered certain things and I countered and I got at that point what I wanted, but it just continued to...

"The Golden Stage Inn was one of the highlights of our Vermont trip. Mike and Julie are wonderful hosts and have clearly put so much care into making the entire experience special. Our room was cozy, spacious, and beautifully kept, with a fireplace, lovely bathroom, and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in while traveling. Breakfast alone is a reason to stay here. The two-course breakfasts were phenomenal, with fresh, local ingredients, juice, and plenty of coffee, all served in a...

"This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...
