"Probably is the newest hotel in the area. Very new both inside and outside. The infinity pool is a huge plus. The morning breakfast has variety of food, both perfect for western culture and local culture."
"The Culvert is an atypical hotel accommodation. The cylinder shaped cocoons are clean and fun to stay in and the staff is very friendly. This is an open air concept with everything, except you room, being outside. Premises are located on a hill which means a lot of stairs - and they are no longer in perfect condition. The two pools are quite nice, but the furniture around them are showing signs of over use while cushions and mattresses are missing or engorged with water. The dining is quite...
"Place2Stay claims three stars but it doesn't offer this quality of accomodation. The building is not well maintained, the rooms are a little shabby and the services are basic. Rooms are never cleaned during the stay, even for a longer stay, and the waste bins are never emptied. Please give your guests a broom and let they know that bottles are not to be thrown away in the room bins!
It's definitely not good value, hardly two stars.
But the location is great as a lot of good Kuching restaurants...
"Overall, had a pleasant stay. However, only two complimentary bottles of water were provided per day, additional water bottle are chargeable. A water dispenser would be a great addition to improve the guest experience."
"I abandoned the place and stay at Imperial Hotel, I am trying to contact Expedia to cancel my booking at this Apartment.
I wasted 1,000 dollar for nothing."
"Loved my stay at Ranee. Great location, amazing and friendly staff and beautiful rooms.
Wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to return to Kuching.
Thank you to all the staff at Ranee. Fantastic hotel in a fantastic city!"
"Room was clean and staff helpful and really friendly.
Infinity pool was amazing-especially at night overlooking the city.
Only thing that would have made it perfect is if there were complimentary tea/coffee to go with kettle provided."
