"Booked room with a sofa but room had third bed in so there was no sofa. Could hear other guests children late at night and very early in morning so rooms are not sound proofed. No heating in bathroom so cold and not even winter yet. Hotel is very convenient to M6 and staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh."

"The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar could do with a few more options though."

"We received a warm welcome in the bar and were shown our room. The room was quite small but it was clean and well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast of cereal bar, instant porridge and a croissant is provided but we headed to the Wetherspoons or local cafe. The bar is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. We liked the central location for exploring Lancaster and not far from the University so we were able to easily visit our son. We will definitely be back."

"Terrible. It looked like the rooms hadn't been cleaned in years. There was a dead fly in room 277. The staff were extremely rude. Lack of communication and they did not acknowledge the payment through the online check-in. I demand better quality to the owner of this outrageous hotel. Please save your money and do not come to this hotel."

Water ran out without any notification in the morning, while waiting for water the cleaning lady threatened me to leave asap. Wifi not working, spooky corridors with filthy carpets. Very poorly trained and unprofessional staff who could even enter your room with their keys without knocking. The only positive point was location, close to...

"Easy check in/out and not far from the motorway. A great place to stop off on a long journey"

"This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value."

"Lovely hotel , very friendly and helpful , food was lovely only thing was the room was to Hot"
