"Booked this hotel thru Expedia and got a very good price. It is just around the corner from the Hartford train and bus stations so it's wonderfully convenient. Just a few issues - First, the front door on Asylum Street is locked, with no sign to tell folks to walk around to the side entrance. Second - when we opened the door to our room, we found that IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED after the previous guests checked out - bed not made, used towels all over the bathroom (!) I had what I needed in my room but I recommend renovation that includes better outlet access and improved lighting and carpets. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
