"Brilliant location, this immaculately clean restored home makes a lovely hotel. The rooms are tiny tiny but comfortable. Bathroom a generous size and good shower. Breakfast can be ordered in, they weren't providing their won when I was there. The man who was looking after the place was very helpful. You get a key to your room only, the front doors are open all day and I was always in early at night. Had to ring bell once during the day when he was out but all OK getting in otherwise. Only...

"We were disappointed with Sandy Bliss. We booked a Superior Double with a King bed and Sea Views - our room was an obstructed/partial sea view, but mostly street view with significant street noise. (photo). The hotel is set behind another building, so few rooms will have unobstructed views as advertised.
I requested to move to a sea view room but was told this was the room I booked, despite the clear discrepancy between listing and reality. They eventually offered a room with a better sea view...

"Great location inside the fort walls, so close to shopping, dining and historic sites. Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. "This property is a bit tucked away and not the easiest to access, but once you arrive, it’s well worth the journey. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to and from the main road is a thoughtful touch that makes getting around much easier. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, providing a good start to the day."
"We didn’t like our first room and the people at the front desk gave us a different room a few days later…which was so much better! The staff was great, the food was great, and we enjoyed staying there. The pool was small but we enjoyed using it to cool off in. The beach had a steep drop, so was hard if you didn’t know how to swim, but you can walk to the end of the beach and find a gently sloping area to swim in…"

"The room was very nice however it was incredibly dark and needed either extra lighting or some focused lighting to read documents. I feel that they were trying to get a " Vibe ", however with all the problems of the world at the moment with war in the middle east we really missed a TV to keep up with the news."
