"The location was amazing. The parking is limited so make sure to book asap. $10. The AC was great. . Tv was good. The bad.. the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor. They offered no discount or even free coffee.. we were told our room was ready 3 times and after walking up 87 steps up we find out its not. "Hotel located in one of the busy thoroughfares of Basel. Lots of options to dine out but the hotel itself is a bit outdated. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was included but not too many options. Room was small but sufficient for a single person. As it’s right next to a busy street, can get noisy very early in the morning. Overall a very decent place. "

Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. "We booked it last minute, in Europe usually you cannot check in after 8pm so having a 24 hour front desk for travelers is a huge bonus. We just parked on the street but I believe they’re have a garage as well. Also enjoyed check out at noon"
