"The parking lot for the hotel was a nightmare to find. Google directs to a small side parking lot for deliveries. When you need to navigate through the round about and exit off of a side street. Recommend looking at google imaging instead of following google directions. Had a two room suite that was lovely traveling with a child (8years old). The hotel was cute, breakfast for extra in the morning was worth it. The attached beer garden was perfect location and setting. A small child's play area...

Staff were amazing - Mattias treated us like VIPs from the moment we arrived, with discreetly attentive service. He apologised for the fact the bar only served snacks yet rustled up some fantastic pizzas and flammkuchen for us."

"Stayed here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. German cleanliness and efficiency as to be expected. The rooms are nice, wouldn't describe them as the height of luxury - but this isn't a 5 star hotel, so you get what you pay for! There is no fridge in the room, which is a little strange for nowadays... Wi-fi works perfectly, plenty of parking, all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The general area outside is beautiful, very nice to walk around the lake. The sauna, pool and spa area...

"Free on-site parking was the main reason we booked this hotel and we could get a buffet breakfast included. Rooms are larger than average but dated, still have keys rather than cards for room entry. Buffet breakfast was extensive and well presented, woman assistant was friendly. As others have remarked the older gentleman on reception on our arrival wasn't particularly welcoming, in fact he was quite grumpy telling us all the things we couldn't do and that he wouldn't be there after 12am! "Lovely oldie world hotel , plenty of character, only thing I could fault was the hot water system which when having a shower went very hot without reason so you had to be on your guard, other than that the breakfast was Devine, bacon and scrambled egg was spot on and the home yoghurt was the most delicious thing I have tasted with various topping to add And the bedroom had a really comfy bed and I couldn’t really fault Would definitely return ."
