"Front desk staff were very helpful, excellent area to find restaurants, shopping and close to the cathedral. It was quite hot for my visit so the staff provided fans and ice buckets with bottles of water. If you need anything, just ask! Would stay here again if ever in the area."

Right next door the bells were ringing every 15 minutes on the evening, then started again at 8am and lasted longer in the morning to call for service (it was Sunday). "A lovely old world charm about the hotel. Very nice, spacious room, excellent staff & fantastic location in the heart of Ludlow. On- site parking available which was also great. "

"The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near."

The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. "It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return."
