"We arrived at 22.30 as our flight was delayed. We tried to notify the hotel as their check in closed at 23.00 but the gentle man only spoke Italian and we only spoke English. After what was a mad time trying to get a taxi, another couple who were going in our direction shared ours. This was fine by many people in the queue (highly recommended and cheaper). Beds were very comfy, air con was great and quiet. 5-8 mins walk from the main bus & train station so perfect if you are just over night or arriving late. "A little hotel close to Sirmione. We stayed one night on the way from Milan to Venezia - very convenient. We walked from the hotel to Sirmione and back, but there is a shuttle available. Small room in the hotel, but it was enough space for us for 1 night. A safe in the room, a kettle, and a restaurant - we had breakfast there but not dinner - it was opened from 7pm. We had dinner in Sirmione. There is a grocery store nearby, 200 yards."

Everything could be reached by walking and there were wonderful restaurants to eat. Directions from the Hotel were excellent and they were very quick in responding to any of your questions. "The hotel is basically new. Very clean and had a pleasant stay. Beds were very comfy, air con was great and quiet. 5-8 mins walk from the main bus & train station so perfect if you are just over night or arriving late. There is not a lot in the area around the hotel and didn’t spot any bars/restaurant in the area. It’s a good 20 mins yomp into edge of the main historical town from the Hotel. We only had 2 nights there and the staff were great and the hotel was perfectly acceptable. If I was staying longer then somewhere closer to the main areas would have been better. However if I was staying longer, I’d recommend going to one of the towns around Lake Garda instead as it was beautiful there! "
