"As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. A decent sized room ( Double ) ,there is plenty of Car parking spaces also if needed,i didnt try their Breakfasts, as i needed to be out early morning."

"We had a 3 night stay here. The room we stayed in had a table with a basket of teas, instant coffee and cookies. They leave a half pint free voucher. The inn was in a great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. We had dinner on Sunday night, the roast beef dinner was very good. The room was on the smaller size, not a lot of space for 2 people. The bathroom was very small, the rain head shower was not the best for the small space. The room was clean. "Fabulous spot in the heart of Askrigg. Great bar and food, especially breakfast. Only tiny negative, the tv is about the size of a PC monitor and reception on anything other than BBC is non existent. That said, you don’t go to watch TV. Everything else is great. "
