Months after I booked, I went to find this place and found darkness and a dirt road. I went back to check the Hotels.com page, and it now says the property is closed until further notice. Really irritating discovery at 10:30 at night."

"The facility is historic and shows it's age in a lovely, welcoming way. Despite representing itself as having a pool, it isn't maintained for swimming (not cleaned, very cold). The grounds are simple and rustic. Horses, sheep, dogs roaming all over. Pastoral. Riding is at a fast clip, and there is plenty of opportunity to gallop should you desire.
