"We were so fortunate to find a room available at the Karras Star. We had a rental home with no air conditioning and had to leave due to the heat. Karras was cool, clean and safe. And the staff was very friendly especially the daily housekeepers, and Greg at reception. THANKS "

"We stayed in the 'presidential suite', which was a really lovely apartment, with a stunning view over the sea. Breakfast isn't worth it - you would be better off going down to the town and eating in in one of the cafés. The one serious problem with this place is its location - it is very difficult to find, and no matter what your GPS or Google Maps says, you should go to the town first, then drive up the hill. Also, it is a long and steep walk down to the town, and a real ordeal to come back...

":) - well equipped i.e small kitchenette, idillic location with stunning sea views! nice & quiet up the hill. :( - little to no contact with the hosts, it was the owner of the neighbouring hotel that showed me to my room. also no cleaning / bins emptying etc which after 4 days was not great!"
