"We really enjoyed our stay at Roslyn House. The room was beautifully furnished and clean. The breakfast goodies provided in the fridge were very generous and good quality. We had a beautiful bottle of Prosecco provided too.
The honesty bar was a nice touch, but we found it a little pricey so we didn’t personally use it. The lounge area downstairs is a very comfortable area, which is very tastefully decorated.
You are only a short walk from the harbour and pubs/ restaurants. But be warned,...

We did not stay at this hotel not that we hadn’t paid not that we didn’t call in time but we did all that telling them that we will only be back from the Ben Nevis trek after 11:30pm however they did not tell us that the last ferry to the hotel was 9:30pm. "The hotel is lovely, very tastefully renovated, the bedroom we stayed in (Uist) was extremely comfortable with a proper sized TV. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were top notch. Beautiful large walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. Everything about the hotel was done with care and attention, you felt like part of the family. Great food, breakfast and superb coffee. "The men's bathroom was two floors below our room. The mattress on my bed was worn out and I could feel metal springs on my back. On the plus side, the room had a good view, it was reasonably priced, and the manager refunded my money when the paid-for breakfast was not provided."

"The place is great. Beautiful view of the ocean, spacious, clean, comfortable, really nice kitchen and dining area. Very close to everything you need, restuarants, the main part of town, walking trails, ferry. There is a public pool just down the road which was great spot when the weather isn't great. The host of readily available if you had questions. They have a washing machine which is super helpful on a long trip, but be prepared to hang dry, which is not a big deal."
"This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable."
