"Excellent hotel and restaurant. Quick friendly efficient service. When I arrived everyone knew I was coming. Quiet comfortable restaurant with excellent food. Delicious local produce and good value. I mentioned to the chef that he liked using nuts as there were hazel nuts with the fish and a mixture of nuts with the baked apple in pastry. He looked a bit bemused and then said Well, it's autumn.
