"My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. "The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay."

"The room was very small. The bathroom was tiny with nowhere to hang things, not even a toilet roll holder and the floor was quite dirty. However we had a lovely sea view. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good. We ate there, as there wasn’t anywhere else in the immediate vicinity to eat. The food was good. We had onsite parking."
