"We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Holly on the reception on Friday could not have been more helpful. Due to mobility issues she moved us to a ground floor room. We ate at the hotel on Friday night and the meal was exceptional. Breakfast was also excellent with an excellent choice. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will come back in the future."
"Great spot, old school pub decor, room was spacious for a family of four. Pub located downstairs served beautiful food. Nice beer garden out the back to relax with a drink. Breakfast in the morning was also really nice. Staff- friendly and very helpful. Would recommend 👍"

Beautiful grounds and setting in the hills overlooking Newcastle-yet convenient to most everything. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. "Brilliant stay at Cherryhill Lodge. We used this as a base to explore all around NI. The place was comfortable, clean with amazing views and the host has the cutest dogs!! The host was lovely, really helpful with everything, made the most incredible brown bread and it was just an overall fantastic stay. Would really recommend!"

"Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. "This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water."
