"Free parking and nice cafes nearby"

"Lovely Manager who helped us to check in slightly earlier than normal which was very much appreciated. The villa had every kitchen item we needed for self-cooking while staying. There is also a washing machine in the Villa and a place to hang laundry in the little private courtyard. Great location in Kingscote opposite the jetty."

"Great location to get on the ferry to Kangaroo Island. The staff was so friendly and helpful!"

"Very Disappointing Accommodation. The cabins were extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The bedding was stained, smelly and covered in hair. The bathroom was filthy, kitchen equipment was sticky or greasy and the outdoor furniture was unusable. Every surface inside and out needed a thorough clean. The only positive was the convenient location near to the Kangaroo Island Ferry."

"Staff very helpful. Laundry had all we needed."

"Place was in a great spot and had a beautiful view! Comfy beds, lots of room and the kitchen was well equipped."

"A great offering in a lovely spot on KI. "

"John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. On a positive note, the complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture. That said, the property would...

"Our host was so helpful when we found out our ferry had been cancelled. He gave us numbers to call and updates on weather and situation in general. The ferry booking lady was also very helpful and allowed us to make a booking by phone as soon as the ferries were running on the day itself! A lot of online info isn't accurate. We could have flown in and hired a car on the island as an alternative. We learnt that from our host. Contact the host before your trip. They can give you all the details....

"Plenty of room. Good kitchen to cook in and washing machine available. Untidy yard at back and side of house . Mounds of dirt and rocks left in piles . No railing around wooden decking."

"The whole unit was kept clean and everything needed for kitchen use is available- from whipping up dishes to baking muffins. Quality paper towels and toilet rolls are provided! To find a garden hose to wash our car at the end of our trip was a pleasant surprise. Hot water is limited to a tank a day. We did experience a short supply on our second night and 2/5 family members couldn’t shower with the cold water on a cold day. The hot water came back the next morning. The view of the sea is...

"Good house in location that was convenient. Julie made effort to inform us re local attractions and options for eating out/visiting. "

"Tolles ursprüngliches Farmhaus in sehr gutem modernen Zustand mit allem, was man braucht. Die Tiere auf der Farm sind lustig, vor allem, wenn man sie mit dem bereitgestellten Futter füttert. Ein zahmes Reh, das das Schaf zur Seite drängt, wenn es um's Fressen geht. 😁. Das weiße Alpaka zeigt dem braunen, wo's langgeht 😂. Tolle Erfahrung für uns Stadtkinder."

"Sharon was absolutely lovely, the accommodation was spotless, updated and simply beautiful . By far one of the best places we have stayed. Would definitely stay here again."
