"Nice building, although a noisy bar/nightclub is on the corner so bare that in mind.
The room photos were not representative of what we got.
Upgraded to the "courtyard suite" fairly disappointed by the standard of the rooms. Bathrooms are of a standard I'd expect in cheap rental property, generally poor quality.
The door to the "private" courtyard didn't have a lock, on 2 occasions after leaving the room we came back to find the door slightly open.

"I found this pub when looking for a room with a hot tub for one night away. It’s in a very quiet place with nice scenery.
We received a very warm welcome from friendly, pleasant staff. We found all staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. Towels, robes, fan, tea and coffee making facility, secluded garden which was not overlooked and a hot tub. The bed was very comfortable.

"Stayed here a few days for a personal retreat, to have a nice quiet place to sit and work, in pleasant surroundings. This place was perfect for that. Ticked all my boxes: parking, en-suite bathroom, desk in room. There is a common area with microwave oven and cutlery and plates/bowls and tea/coffee (there is tea/coffee and kettle in the room anyway), so I never ran out of hot drinks. "We had a wonderful stay at the Pembroke Arms. It’s set in a beautiful location and was the ideal base for exploring Salisbury. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Our room was absolutely gorgeous — beautifully decorated, comfortable and full of character.
