The setting is unfortunately spoilt by the busy coastal road that runs in front of the hotel, the angry buzz of motorbikes etc. Rear-facing rooms with frosted windows and no view best avoided. Clientele dominated by parties of elderly Brits and Germans."

"Great hotel and lovely friendly staff. Nice room, good breakfast, excellent dinner. Close to train station, less than 10 minute walk. 20 minutes walk to funicular up to old town. Lots of good restaurants nearby. For a 3 star it was good."

The place has kept the wide steps but also has elevator. There were no fridge in our room but they let us store food in their fridge and safeguarded.
