I don’t normally write reviews but Hotel Minos was an excellent experience all around

I would 100% rebook this hotel. The receptionist is absolutely amazing and helpful. She makes an amazing breakfast and is so attentive to her guests. It's located in old town rethymno which is amazing. You dive immediately into the prettiest area in Rethymno and if you have any questions the receptionist will always help you with a smile. The rooms are spacious and modern. The housekeeping could use some work because they dont changed the sheets just made the bed, but I'm sure if you asked they...

This is an excellent hotel located within walking distance of city center. We had a party of three, so we received a two room suite, which was excellent. The breakfast was great - had plenty of choices. The suite had a balcony which was a nice place to relax in the morning or evening. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Took the AC over 5 hours to cool down. Also, the tub/shower flooded when you took a shower.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Antica Dimora! The only negative we have is that we wish we stayed longer. Beautifully restored & preserved Venetian Palace! We had the room with a balcony overlooking the pool and church down the road and it could not have been more romantic!! We loved waking up to the bright blue skies and breathtaking view of the area. Superb stay at Veneto. Arrived early and asked for room with outdoor patio which was quickly taken care of. Room was gorgeous as is entire hotel. Anastasia at the front desk is a gem and helped me with customs shipping label to send package to US, laundry service and many other things. Restaurant was closed due to off-season but was able to get a bottle of wine as they have wine selections available and even wine tasting during peak season. Perfect place to stay away from the chaos of Heraklion! The food in the restaurant is AMAZING - definitely try the grilled mushrooms if you can (we had it twice)! The homemade white and red wine are also amazing! The room was clean and spacious, and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Nicolas was an amazing dinner host. We loved every minute of our stay!

Are only disappointment was only booking for one night. Spectacular view, charming host and hostess, George and Aphroditi treated us like family and fed us just as well! Aphroditi is a fantastic cook. This hotel is so lovely! We enjoyed walking to see a 300 year old church and all of The acres of grape, olive, fig, and flower gardens. We ate grapes right off the vine. Thank you for a wonderful visit. We will be back!

Friendly staff and great location.

It is located in the Old Town. There are only six rooms and so there isn't anyone there full time- they request that you tell them when you plan to arrive. We have a good sized room with a private deck. On the deck there is a very large Jacuzzi, though we didn't use it. A large umbrella provides shade. There is a table and chairs where it is pleasant to eat breakfast or you can go up to the roof and dine there in the sun. There is also a folding contraption that you can use to dry your towels...

We absolutely adored our stay! Antonia, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room itself was stunning and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood we stayed in is excellent; it’s just a short walk to restaurants/shops and Fortezza. I definitely recommend it!
