"Fantastic cozy hotel in the heart of Groningen overlooking the market square. The older hotel, which was renovated perhaps 20 years ago, is a beautiful old building. The staff was pleasant, and the rooms are generous in size for northern Europe. The bathroom was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Room temperature was great. The only challenge is that it is on the market square and Groningen has an energetic nightlife--so bring your large earplugs, as the partiers are out all...

"The staff are fantastic. However, the room was small, no coffee or tea in rooms although there is a machine in the hall by the main door - not convenientat all. No water glass, no shampoo or conditioner. Just really basic. There is a fridge but it was turned off on arrival and take several hours to cool. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable."
