There’s also a lingering fried food smell, mentioned by other guests, that hasn’t been resolved. Communication before check-in was difficult and could be improved. "Hotel Hechtplatz was friendly and welcoming. The single room booked turned out to be occupied and I was given a double room instead. It was comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and with a reasonable choice, and the employee was obliging and helpful. Very good value!"
