"I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! "The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot. Bathroom is tiny. breakfast doesn't open until 9AM, which is quite late if you want to get up and go somewhere, so we had to get breakfast at a different place. "Although close to city Centre (convenient) and train station, the room was dusty and dingy and did not deliver as advertised in the description (decor was dated and mismatched, tv didn’t work, floorboards unsafe). Communication was good with the managers but follow through did not happen (eg soap promised for bathroom but none delivered). "
