Everything was well kept. Great staff. But the pool table had broken pool table sticks. We loved playing pool and the game room tv did not work. It was a little in disarray.

A Family Paradise and Culinary Delight: Our Most Satisfied Stay at CHÄRNSMATT! Our recent stay at CHÄRNSMATT Gasthof & Spielparadies in Rothenburg was nothing short of exceptional and easily one of the most satisfying hotel experiences we've ever had, especially as a family. This isn't just a place to sleep; it's a complete destination that truly understands hospitality and creates joy for all ages. From the moment we arrived, the warm and genuinely friendly staff made us feel incredibly...

I don't have nothing to say, everyting are good

Clean and simple place with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Great location.

The hotel is next to an old church and within the old town. The building is almost 500 years old and the style of hotel decorations and facilities, such as lamps and furniture, are in tune with the ambience. The room has a cute coffee maker.

Hotel Marta was in the perfect location! Walking distance from the train and right near all the restaurants and stores. It was still very quiet in the room at night. The room was small and minimalistic but we didn’t spend much time in the room so it was fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they let us check in prior to official time. The breakfast was vegetarian; yogurt, toast, cereals, fruit, etc. I would definitely recommend hotel Marta!

Best staff ever! Especially Skye and the bar/grill crew w/ 24 hr access to food and drink. Full King size bed. Excellent location, walkable to so many attractions.

The design of the rooms is great to let people sleep quietly, there is a door separating the lockers from the beds

We found this room to be better than we expected. It had four beds for my family with two adult children, but little seating. Staff were friendly. Great location close to old town. We actually had an amazing view of the river. My only issue: I thought I was booking a room that included breakfast and when I arrived I found out that breakfast, while in the hotel, does cost extra... a lot extra. Fortunately there were a couple of little shops close by where we were able to get snacks. There...

Great location. Special thanks to Steven for making the stay comfortable

It's hard to believe that an "older" hotel in the middle of Zurich can feel so updated and elegant. I don't know if they remodeled recently, but every square inch seemed spotless. As one of the Rick Steves recommended hotels, the staff and facilities were outstanding. This will be our "go to" hotel if we get back to Zurich.

The Hotel is amazing it looks exactly like the pictures so I was very happy and the bed was very comfortable just like people of said in previous reviews! It is in the perfect location right by the main train station very short walk and beautiful park across the street as well as a Starbucks and the Sihlquai is across the street. Good customer service deafly recommended it would stay here again.

The hotel room is very modern and clean! The staff is so thoughtful. They immediately put a roller bed for us as we have three people. Easy access to Zurich city as well as to airport.

Very well located, next to the Baar train station to go anywhere in Switzerland by train, direct train from/to Zurich airport, close to Lucerne. Overall great experience
