"Two minutes walk from Bristol railway station. Cleanliness of room excellent, breakfast constantly topped up. On upper floor, no traffic noise though overlooking main road. No corridor noise, comfortable room. Just one issue, only one lift for the whole of the building, we had to walk up and downstairs several times."

"As the name suggests this is a budget hotel. Small room and bathroom. Good comfortable and clean bed. You get what you pay for. OK for an overnight stop. "

"Nice area, few minute walk to the train station which was great as I was alone and felt safe walking back at night. Room was very basic but clean and had everything I needed for the night. Staff were lovely and let me check in early on request. Car park out back was free but not a lot of spaces so it’s first come first served however I did see a car park nearby by you could pay for. Came for a concert in Cardiff which was perfect with the easy access via train and miles cheaper than Cardiff...

"Location fantastic. Value for money. Lovely terrace. Lovely lady on reception. Family run business which, where I can, I like to support. This hotel is a sleeping giant. When the economy picks up I would love to think this hotel would be able to reap the rewards by giving it a fresh start. I will go again as it has everything I needed for a couple of nights away. "

"Overall our Family Room stay was okay however had to shut the windows at night due to traffic noise and the odd drunk vomiting across the street Our ajoining rooms were very clean and practical our double was a bit small I personally feel that this hotel due to its location could and would benefit from being licenced and serving food The sea view and sunset would attract Some of the surrounding pubs were a bit intimidating with stag parties etc We enjoyed our stay we would stay there again "
